Today's explorers of the Jeju ocean are two trial divers who visited Dive Map all the way from the Kansai region of Japan. Coming from Osaka and Kyoto respectively, they showed absolutely no signs of the subtle (?) rivalry often seen in internet memes, proving to be the definition of true best friends. "We want to take pictures together!" they said, showing off a truly enviable friendship.
As a side note, when we first received their inquiry via LINE, the profile name was set to "RISE." I wondered, 'Did she choose this to mean soaring gracefully through the sea?' It turned out her actual name was Rise. And just like her name, despite it being her very first trial dive, she adjusted her buoyancy and posture quickly after descending. Seeing her comfortably enjoy the trial dive among the soft coral colonies felt perfectly aligned with her name, "RISE."
Amidst the school of silver damselfish swimming above the soft corals, the shutter kept clicking for the duo photos they had hoped for. The combined energy of Osaka and Kyoto shined through Jeju's clear waters, creating beautiful underwater poses that could easily rival those of seasoned fun divers.
After the tour, they expressed deep gratitude, saying they were able to complete their first dive without any major fears, which made our guiding team incredibly proud. Thanks to the uplifting, soaring energy of Rise and her friend, the entire DIVEMAP center enjoyed a highly energetic and vibrant day.
