Western divers often seem to travel with a more relaxed schedule, enjoying freer and more spontaneous trips. The Danish family who visited Dive Map this time also contacted us just two days before their dive, allowing us to hit the water together.

The father turned 60 this year and is a veteran diver who first earned his license at age 16 and has been diving ever since. His son and daughter are also certified, and the family currently travels the world diving together. I must admit, I'm quite envious! (Posting the license photo with permission below)
Among Korean divers, there are quite a few who particularly love octopuses. Part of it might be because it's an expensive ingredient, but once you encounter an octopus underwater, you truly understand its charm. I initially wondered if Westerners might avoid octopuses due to legends like the Kraken, but as soon as they spotted one, they absolutely loved it and spent over five minutes playing with it. The octopus probably had a pretty tiring time, though. 🐙
And during the safety stop, a photo with the family. A father diving alongside his two children and capturing that moment in the sea made it a truly memorable dive for me as well. The longer I dive, the more I realize that what ultimately remains are good buddies.
